Fellowship Events
Monthly or quarterly, we invite congregants from all our services to connect and have fun. From taco bars and scavenger hunts to Theology on Tap events where we gather to ask the deeper questions, these offer a variety of opportunities to build relationships as a church family.
Arts Ministry
The Arts Ministry hosts regular Wine & Cheese & Coloring events to relax and discuss all kinds of artistic expression. We’re a ministry sponsored by St. Stephen’s Hurst to encourage art appreciation, cultivate the expression of faith through art, and reforge the bond between the art community and the Church. Events take place the third Sunday most months at 4 p.m..
Lenten Soup Suppers and Program
During Lent, we gather together for the Stations of the Cross, a soup supper and a Christian Education program. This program occurs Wednesdays after Ash Wednesday during Lent.
Seder Dinner
This traditional Jewish Seder Meal shows the link between the ancient Festival of Redemption in Passover and Jesus as the Lamb of God. Throughout this meal, you’ll hear the story of Exodus woven together with the life, death and resurrection of Christ. The words He spoke in the upper room come alive as each Hebraic item is carefully explained. We hope you’ll join us to experience the gospel in a fresh and profound way through this ancient tradition.
Christmas Festival
Held each December, the festival provides opportunity for both fellowship among parish members and reaching out to the community.
